We are always looking for Foster Homes. Fostering an animal not only gives that animal a warm, loving place to stay while recovering from an injury or illness, but is also a great opportunity for person(s) or families to find out if bringing an animal companion in their homes permanently is a good fit.
Fostering offers that "trial" run of caring for an animal. This helps to cut down on animals being purchased or adopted from various places only to end up being re-homed because the level of care or financial obligation isn't what the human companions thought it would be. If you choose to open your homes to an animal in need and find that you would like to make that animal a permanent part of your family, adoption is possible. Foster homes will often be given "first chance" at adopting any animal they are fostering, provided that the animal is a good fit for their home.
